(v2.x) Creating a FortiCloud / FortiCare master support account

Before you can initialize and configure the service, you must first create a FortiCloud / FortiCare master support account. Some customers may wish to use an existing FortiCloud / FortiCare master support account. They do not need to complete this step.


Note

You can only initialize the Fortinet Security Awareness and Training Service using a master support account. If you attempt to initialize using a FortiCloud / Forticare sub account, the operation will fail.


When creating the master support account, you can choose to use an individuals email (e.g. firstname.lastname@domain.com) or a generic email (e.g. support@domain.com).


How to create a master support account:

1)  Navigate to https://support.fortinet.com

2)  Click on the Register button:

3) Follow the prompts to create your account.
