(v2.x) How to create a new campaign template and schedule the campaign

Campaign Setup Tab


1)  Select Campaigns from the navigation menu, then select the New Training Campaign button:

2)  Select the Create a new template link:

3)  Select the tab for the type of module you would like to preview (Base Training Modules / Micro Training Modules / Training for Education Industry):

4)  Select the modules that you would like to include in the new template by clicking on them:

You can deselect modules by clicking on them a second time.


5)  Give your template a name that is meaningful to your administrators by entering it in the Template Name field:

The template name will only be seen / used by administrators. The name should be meaningful to them. It may encompass a description of the content, when it should be assigned, the order, etc.

Examples: Q1 (Part I) Security Training, Annual Security Training (Part I)


6)  Scroll down the page and select the Save Template button below the list of modules:

You will receive a confirmation that the template has been saved:

If you wish to change the order of the modules, you can click and hold the six dots to the right of the module information and drag and drop the module to a different location in the order of modules:

7)  Give the campaign name a name that is meaningful to end users. You may wish to include additional identification information (such as the year, group assigned to name or other information). The campaign name should be unique so that it is easily identifiable should you need to create additional reports or remediation events. To set the campaign name, select the pencil icon next to the campaign name (default name is New Campaign):

8)  Select the Campaign start date and time, Training due date for learners and time, and the Campaign End Date and time. You must select the OK button for each to save the selected date and time:

9)  Add or modify the Welcome/Introduction Message that will appear with the training assignment in the Learner App:

10)  Assign Learners by selecting the assignment method (mapped department or title unique values) by clicking the Choose a resource… drop down under Assign Learners - Add a group drop down:

11) Select to assign the appropriate positions (title) or departments from the right hand drop down (you may select multiple entries):

12) Choose which email templates you wish to enable by turning the Training enrollment confirmation, Due date alert and Campaign completion template emails toggle buttons on or off:

You can view and modify the content these templates use by visiting: Notifications


13)  Select the Launch Campaign Now button at the bottom of the page, or select Save for later if you wish to safe the campaign as a draft:

14)  Select the Save for later button to advance to the Reports Setup Tab.



Reports Setup Tab


1)  If you wish to schedule an executive level report for the campaign (contains information on the overall status of the campaign, but no user information), select the Reports Setup tab at the top of the screen:

2)  Select the Schedule button to turn on the report:

3)  Choose whether to send to Specific Users or Department Leads (if you have granted Department Leads permission when importing users or after using the Users page search function) by selecting the appropriate Send To option button selection:

4)  Select how often you would like the report sent from the Frequency settings (weekly, monthly or at the end of the campaign:

5) Select the Save Report Settings button to save the report and continue to the Remediation settings tab

Remediation Setup Tab


1)  Choose whether to enable one or both of the canned remediation options, then select the Save button:
