(v2.x) Customizing Notifications

These features are only available for premium service level licenses (Free 25 user Premium (for Partners only) and Premium (purchased by customer), it is not available for free and standard service level licenses.)




You can also customize the notification templates used for the following automated communications. You may wish to update the notifications to provide additional information. For example, you may wish to include an email from your organization that learners should reach out to if they have issues, a url pointer to your security policy, information on why the training is important or mandatory, or, other information:


Notification Type

Description

Timeframe

Logging In for the First Time

This email provides users with a link to confirm their account, set their password and log in for training. NOTE: This notification is not used if customers configure SSO/SAML2 logins to use their own solution. 

Automatically sent when the first campaign begins. 

Training Enrollment Confirmation

This email notifies users of their enrollment in a new training campaign.

Sent when the training campaign starts, including late enrollees.

Due Date Alert

This email notifies users who have incomplete campaign assignments.

Sent on the due date.

Campaign Completion

This email notifies a user when they have completed their campaign assignments.

Sent upon user completion of the training.

Your Report Is Ready

This email informs recipients that a specific report is now available and accessible.

Sent according to the report schedule.


Each email template contains a list of available placeholders you can insert in that template when accessing campaign information to include in the template.


You can only use the placeholders listed under the body in the template you are modifying. You cannot copy placeholders from one template and use them in another template.


To access available placeholders:


1)  From the navigation menu, select Preference, then select the Notifications tab:

2)  Select the Edit link for the Notification Type you want to modify to display the Email Template:

3)  Expand the Available placeholders list by clicking the Available placeholders link:

4)  Copy the Placeholder value including the brackets (e.g. {{certificationname}} and paste it in the Body field where you would like it to appear.


Note
